“When I was teaching basketball, I urged my players to
try their hardest to improve on that very day, to make that practice a
masterpiece. This rule is even more important in life than basketball. You have
to apply yourself each day to become a little better. By applying yourself to
the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time,
you will become a lot better,. Only then will you be able to approach being the
best you can be. It begins by trying to make each day count and knowing you can
make up for a lost day.”
John Wooden
I love this quote because John is right if you want to become good
at something you have to keep pushing yourself till the end. No giving up no complaining
about it just keeps trying until you have finally reached what you want. That
is life things don’t just come to your hand like that you have to work hard to
achieve that goal. That’s why we set goals for ourselves so we can prove to ourselves
that we can do It, it takes hard work and determination to do something but if
you really want to achieve that goal. It also takes lots of practice but then
you get better at it if you just keep practicing that’s how you get better at
things it takes practice that is all. As the quote says only then you will become better at what you are doing
and the results will be great. Just don’t give up. Each one of us has the
ability to become what we want only if we practice doing it and not give up.
