I think this quote means that if we do bad things it will lead us in the wrong way and to misery. But if you do the opposite and what’s right you can do what is right and that will lead you to the correct path and make you happy. But if you’re sinning all the time what is there left but just bad and no one wants that in life. So this also means that if you depart from doing right it will lead you to do bad things and many people get peer pressured by friends to do things that they don’t want to so always choose the right path what you know is right and just stick to that.
