Jenna and Deb,
Summary: In this story it talks about two young girls that are in a cross-country
sport. So what happened was this girl named Jenna Huff was running in a race
against another team and she was head to head with her opponent Deb and they
were getting at tie. All of a sudden Jenna gets a broken rib and cannot run but
Deb helps her win the race by supporting her and telling her that she could do
it and Jenna does win the race after all thanks to Deb’s help.
Reflection: My
thought about this story was that I was very impressed. Deb had great
sportsmanship and a great heart and that really shows that she was a kind girl
and was not selfish and didn't care about winning the race. The only thing she
cared about was helping her other teammate Jenna win. Deb cared about the girl
winning because she had got injured and I think Deb did the right thing on
helping her and she is right it doesn't matter if people made fun of her for
helping Jenna she just cared about Helping Jenna because Deb knew that was the
right thing to do. So this shows us that we should all be great sportsmanship
to one another and always choose the right!
